FUSE Carbon Blade Technology

FUSE Carbon Blade stabilizers are uniquely designed to reduce wind drag and resulting torque on the bow by more than 70%, while allowing for an ideal asymmetric flex pattern which effectively dissipates post-shot vibration, and aids accuracy by reducing low-frequency oscillation which can interfere with the aiming process. 

Extreme horizontal stiffness (more than 5 times stiffer than any other commercially available stabilizer) combats accuracy-robbing torque and maintains the critical inertial stability of the bow during the short time (~0.0015 seconds) when the arrow is being launched.  Carbon Blade’s aerodynamic geometry reduces time to target acquisition, decreases holding time and improves shot timing even in challenging, gusty conditions.

The wind-beating Carbon Blade design uses an elliptical, zero-lift airfoil that’s only 4/10ths of an inch thick, providing an ideal, low-drag, 0.4/1 aspect ratio.  With Carbon Blade’s elliptical design and sleek, nesting weight system, wind drag is reduced over ordinary round stabilizers by more than 70%, proven and documented in independent studies at the world-renowned San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel research facility.

Constructed of 100% high-modulus carbon fiber, Carbon Blade features a fully integrated, internal carbon dual-taper I-beam system for optimized stiffness and high-damping rate capabilities in the vertical plane, while in the critical horizontal plane, no other stabilizer even approaches the stiffness of Carbon Blade.  This sophisticated combination of excellent vibration management and ultimate stiffness in the required horizontal direction makes Carbon Blade the World’s Most Advanced Stabilizer.

Carbon Blade’s optimized, all-stainless steel weight system is intricately crafted to maximize moment- force over distance- with minimum mass.  Simply put, Carbon Blade’s nested system concentrates more mass over less length, increasing the effectiveness of the system. 

The included elastomeric suppression unit on each Carbon Blade optionally allows for a very high degree of damping after the shot, soaking up residual vibration without compromising aiming and holding.  The custom elliptical dampers preserve the wind-cheating design of the Carbon Blade system.
